Hi, I’m Allu – but more than that, I’m a curious soul from Finland with a background in judo and a lifelong love for travel. From a young age, I was drawn to different cultures and the thrill of mastering something challenging.
After my competitive judo career, I spent years searching for a new passion—until I found surfing. I caught my first wave in Sri Lanka back in 2016, and something just clicked. The connection with nature, the never-ending challenge, and the simplicity of the surf lifestyle—it all made sense. Even as a Finn, far from ocean culture, I was lucky to be surrounded by pioneers of Finnish surfing who inspired me to dive deeper.
Fast forward nearly a decade, and I met Simo. Together, we brought our ideas to life and built something we believe in—an experience that blends Scandinavian quality with Moroccan soul. We want to open the door for more Nordic people to discover this magical place through surfing, culture, and community.

My name is Mohamed, but everyone calls me Simo. I’m a local from Agadir, born with a passion for the ocean and surfing. I’ve been involved in the local surf scene for years, even running a surf camp in Taghazout Bay before life took me to Finland for a while.
It was in Finland that I met Allu, and everything just came together. His Nordic mindset and my local expertise felt like the perfect match. That’s how Nordic Surf Morocco was born—a way to combine the best of both worlds and share authentic Moroccan surf culture with curious travelers from the north.
